Edouard Philippe, France's New Prime Minister

Edouard Philippe, a French lawyer and center-right politician, has been named Prime Minister by Emmanuel Macron. Philippe has been the mayor of Le Havre, a city in north-western France, since 2010; and he has served in the National Assembly representing the 7th constituency of Seine-Maritime since 2012.
